My Experience with Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate:

My skin type: Combination to Normal

I have used it for a month at night, till it got finished, hoping to see any result.

Unfortunately, I did not see any positive results on continuous use. I am not going to buy this product again as I did not feel anything good about this product because it is overwhelmed by enormous number of bad things. Out of 25 ingredients list of products, 12 of them are pure fragrance essential oils. I am personally not a fan of fragrance essential oils because it can be highly irritating to the face giving no real benefits at all. They are extremely unstable when exposed to sunlight and air. They are only the smell components added in the cosmetic products. Not only this but also very expensive.

Although it does have Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride- A super common emollient that makes your skin feel nice and smooth. It comes from coconut oil and glycerin, it’s light-textured, clear, odorless and non-greasy. It’s a nice ingredient that just feels good on the skin. Squalane is in fashion and there is a reason for it that it's a nice and stable oily liquid with a long shelf life and acts as a superb moisturizer.

Pros:

  • Non sticky oil formula that absorbs super quickly into the skin

  • Leaves the skin glowy

Cons:

  • Added Fragrance

  • No visible result

  • Does not improves any skin condition, thus not a good investment

Rating:

2/5 (minus 3 as it did not bring any significant change and is over expensive)
